Sandy Hook Family Session

This was the first beach family session I have ever done and it’s safe to say that I’m in love with them now. Sandy Hook has some of the most beautiful beaches in New Jersey and is totally worth the drive! I started my day at 6:00 am to get there just in time for sunrise. We chose sunrise to avoid crowds since Sandy Hook is a pretty popular place! Plus, it worked the best with the babies’ sleep schedules. When choosing a time for your session, it’s super important that we work with your child’s sleep and nap time schedule!

The lighting was perfect, and their outfit colors paired so nicely. When picking outfits, I always recommend neutral tones with minimal patterns. The most important thing is that you feel comfortable in whatever you choose to wear! Oftentimes, my clients like bring two outfits if they want pictures in fancier attire, or just for backup! I will help you every step of the way to pick out the most perfect outfit for your session! Some of my favorite clothing stores to shop at are Gap, Banana Republic, and Abercrombie!

This family wanted simple, and candid photos for their session. These are my favorite types of pictures to take because it allows me to capture your memories in the most candid, organic, and authentic ways! I will guide you into poses, ask you silly questions to make you all laugh, and we will dance to your favorite music!

Towards the end of this session, I took some photos on my film camera! These pictures add the cutest touches to your gallery.

I have been taking photos for this family for years now, and it makes my heart so happy to watch them grow.
