Spring Staten Island Family Photography Session

This spring Staten Island family photography session was all about preserving a fleeting moment. Honestly, this session might be my favorite family shoot I’ve ever done!

A few months ago, this sweet family inquired about my photography services, hoping to book a shoot. While we discussed details, Mom mentioned that this would be their very first time having professional photos taken. She knew it was the perfect time to invest in authentic family photos to display at home!

Most importantly, this family wanted my help to capture and preserve the beauty of this particular moment in life. Undoubtedly, time moves faster than we want it to. So, it can be so easy to forget all the little, fleeting details that make life so beautiful. That’s why I am passionate about family lifestyle photography!

On the day of the shoot, the weather was perfect. The natural light made for some stunning images. Also, there was enough of a breeze to add a bit of extra movement to these final edits. We shot at my favorite location in Staten Island, where we had the opportunity to pick dandelions and capture some beautiful photos. The family’s adorable little girl with a big personality added to the charm of the session. We were also lucky enough to get some shots with the pretty pink blossoms!
